Put commas wherever you want,

Have you ever noticed that rules can take the joy out of doing stuff?

Especially rules that you had no part in making.

“No!” You might say, “there must be systems.”

Or, you might take the stance…“that’s just the way it is, deal with it.”

Well, sometimes I just don’t dig the way it is very much.

Sometimes I don’t want to worry about abiding by some code. Sometimes I just want to have fun writing.

Look, I’m not against structure. I’m just for feeling free.

I’m also not for doing something simply because that’s the way it’s been done. I think that type of thinking causes problems and confusion. It causes us to pretend that someone out there is in charge, or someone out there knows what they’re doing.

No one knows what they’re doing. The person that says they do, least of all.

Let’s be honest, the devious part of human nature seems to really get off on telling other people how to be and what to do. No?

Is that not a major distraction from looking inward and taking the time to improve the self?

You want to talk about logic.

Ok, what’s more logical that focusing on what you actually have some control of?
